Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the provider that operates the resulting search service. Mesquite Residents Directory does not keep a separate copy of those search terms. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine hosting logs may record an IP address, browser details, requested pages, referral information, and timestamps. We use aggregate information to operate, secure, and understand use of the service. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement.
How Data Is Used
Limited technical and contact data is used to provide the service, diagnose errors, measure traffic, protect the service, and answer inquiries. We do not sell visitor lists or create a personal visitor directory.
Outside Services
Links lead to government portals, archives, libraries, and third-party search providers. Those services apply their own privacy terms to information submitted there. That includes any sponsored search result, which is provided by a separate company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting, analytics, and support providers may process the technical information described here for us. Information may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share contact information for unrelated uses.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection. Logs are retained only for as long as operational, security, and legal needs require. Since the site has no user accounts, it does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
Mesquite Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent information so it can be reviewed and removed.
Privacy Rights
Texas Business & Commerce Code Chapter 541, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, provides qualifying consumers rights involving covered business controllers, including access, correction, deletion, portability, and certain opt-outs. The statute excludes state agencies and political subdivisions, so it does not erase a Dallas County or City of Mesquite record. For this private reference, a privacy request can be made through the Contact page; we will review the contact information and operational data we control.

Any revised policy will be posted here. Continued use after a posted update means the revised policy applies from that point forward.
